Homemade Apple
Sauce
This is one of my go-to desserts because it's relatively easy, extremely yummy and light.
Ingredients:
6-8 Large Apples (McIntosh
or Granny Smith)
½ tsp. Cinnamon
¾ cup of water
½ of sugar (or sugar substitute
like Agave)
Garnish with Cinnamon
Sticks
First you gotta
peel and core them apples. Dice the apples into small chunks and toss them into
a medium saucepan. Bring all the ingredients to a boil at medium heat in the
saucepan, stirring occasionally ‘til cooked (10-15 minutes and they should have
the desired soft consistency).
See that’s it! So easy!
I like to add half
n’ half and extra cinnamon sugar if I’m serving it warm, but you can definitely
serve it chilled too!
