I happened to have some
left over rice from dinner the other night and decided to put this recipe
together for a super yum desert! Enjoy :)
1/8 Cup of Vegetable Oil
1/4 Flour
1/8 Cup Sugar
A couple drops of Vanilla
Extract (or 1/2 Vanilla Bean)
3 Cups Cooked White Rice
1/4 tsp Cinnamon
3/4 Cup of either Whole
Milk or Almond Milk
In a small sauce pan over
medium heat stir oil, sugar and flour 'til completely melted &
smooth.
Add milk + stir
constantly and raise the heat to high. Once thickened, remove heat and stir in
cooked rice. Sprinkle cinnamon on top of servings. VOILA!
Optional**
> Add a few cooked
raisins. (Wash and drain, place in a glass bowl with water and microwave for 3 minutes
and drain again)
> Add chopped fruit of
choice
